باب ما جاء فى االترهيب من الشعر إن كان فيه فحش أو كذب أو انشغال عن الله
Chapter on what has been narrated regarding warning against poetry if it contains obscenity, lies, or distracts from Allah
Hadith Number: 9936
عن سعد يعني بن ابي وقاص رضي الله عنه ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال لان يمتلئ جوف احدكم قيحا حتى يريه خير من ان يمتلئ شعرا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If a person's stomach is filled with pus to the extent that it becomes visible, this is better for him than being filled with poetry.
