Chapter on one who cuts off an inheritance share that Allah has prescribed
Hadith Number: 287
نا ابو معاوية، قال: نا الاعمش، عن مسلم بن صبيح، قال: سئل مسروق: اكانت عائشة تحسن الفرائض؟ قال: " لقد رايت الاكابر من اصحاب رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم يسالونها عن الفرائض" .
Masruq (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked whether Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) was well-versed in the laws of inheritance (the shares of inheritance). He replied: "I have seen the senior companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) asking her about the issues of inheritance."
