باب ما جاء في قسمة الغنائم
Chapter on what is reported regarding the division of spoils
Hadith Number: 2758
نا ابن عياش، عن سليمان بن سليم، عن يحيى بن جابر، انه كان على الغنائم بارض الروم، فكان لا ياتي احد من المسلمين يشتري من المغنم دابة، او خادما، او متاعا، او ثوبا به داء او عيب يريد رده إلا قبله، ومحي الثمن عنه" .
Yahya bin Jabir (may Allah have mercy on him) said: He was appointed over the spoils of war in the land of Rome, and if any Muslim wanted to return a slave, animal, goods, or clothing after finding a defect in it, he would deduct its price.
