Hadith Number: 1070
اخبرنا ابن زهير ، بتستر، حدثنا عبد القدوس بن محمد بن عبد الكبير ، حدثنا حجاج بن منهال ، حدثنا حماد بن سلمة ، عن عبيد الله بن عمر ، عن المقبري ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " عليكم بالسواك، فإنه مطهرة للفم، مرضاة للرب عز وجل" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is obligatory upon you to use the miswak, for it cleanses the mouth and is a means of earning the pleasure of the Lord."
