Chapter on Nullifiers of Ablution – Report indicating that Urwah heard this narration directly from Busrah herself
Hadith Number: 1113
اخبرنا احمد بن خالد بن عبد الملك بن عبيد الله بن مسرح الحراني ابو بدر ، بسرغامرطا من ديار مضر، قال: حدثنا ابي ، قال: حدثنا شعيب بن إسحاق ، قال: حدثني هشام بن عروة ، عن ابيه ، ان مروان بن الحكم حدثه، عن بسرة بنت صفوان ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " إذا مس احدكم ذكره، فليتوضا" . قال: فانكر ذلك عروة، فسال بسرة، فصدقته.
Sayyida Busrah bint Safwan (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any person touches his private part, he should perform ablution." The narrator states: 'Urwah denied this matter, then he inquired from Sayyida Busrah, and she confirmed this statement.
