باب مواقيت الصلاة - ذكر البيان بأن قوله صلى الله عليه وسلم وقت صلاتكم بين ما رأيتم أراد به صلاته بالأمس واليوم
Prayer times: Clarifying that "the time of your prayer is between what you saw" means yesterday and today
Hadith Number: 1493
اخبرنا ابو يعلى ، حدثنا سعيد بن يحيى الاموي ، حدثني ابي ، عن محمد بن عمرو ، عن ابي سلمة ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: " صلى بنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم الصبح، فغلس بها، ثم صلى الغداة فاسفر بها، ثم قال: اين السائل عن وقت صلاة الغداة؟ فيما بين صلاتي امس واليوم" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) led us in the morning prayer (Fajr) one day. He performed it in darkness, then the next day he performed it in brightness. Then he said: Where is the person who asked about the time of the prayer? (The time of this prayer) is between these two prayers which we performed yesterday and today.
