باب المساجد - ذكر البيان بأن هذا الرجل إنما مر في المسجد بالأسهم ليتصدق بها
Chapter on Mosques - Clarification that the man passed through the mosque with arrows to give them in charity.
Hadith Number: 1648
اخبرنا محمد بن الحسن بن قتيبة ، قال: حدثنا يزيد بن موهب ، قال: حدثني الليث بن سعد ، عن ابي الزبير ، عن جابر ، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" انه امر رجلا كان يتصدق بالنبل في المسجد ان لا يمر بها إلا وهو آخذ بنصولها" .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) instructed a man who was passing through the mosque carrying arrows to hold them by their tips while passing through there.
