Hadith Number: 2050
اخبرنا ابن خزيمة ، قال: حدثنا بندار ، قال: حدثنا ابو بكر الحنفي ، قال: حدثنا الضحاك بن عثمان ، قال: حدثني سعيد المقبري، عن ابي هريرة ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " إذا دخل احدكم المسجد، فليسلم على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وليقل: اللهم افتح لي ابواب رحمتك، وإذا خرج فليسلم على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وليقل: اللهم اجرني من الشيطان الرجيم" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a person enters the mosque, he should send salutations upon the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and say: 'O Allah! Open for me the doors of Your mercy.' And when he leaves, he should send salutations upon the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and say: 'O Allah! Grant me protection from the accursed devil.'"
