Chapter on What is Disliked and Not Disliked – Permissibility to Pray in Qatari Cloaks
Hadith Number: 2335
اخبرنا ابو خليفة ، قال: حدثنا داود بن شبيب ، قال: حدثنا حماد بن سلمة ، عن حميد ، عن الحسن ، وانس بن مالك ، وحبيب بن الشهيد ، عن الحسن ، عن انس بن مالك ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " خرج وهو متوكئ على اسامة بن زيد، وعليه برد قطري قد توشح به، فصلى بهم" .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) came, and he was leaning on Sayyiduna Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with them both), and he was wearing a Qatari cloak, which he had wrapped as an adornment. He led the people in prayer.
