باب النوافل - ذكر الأمر للمرء أن يجعل نصيبا من صلاته لبيته
Section on voluntary prayers – mentioning the instruction to dedicate part of one’s prayer to the home
Hadith Number: 2490
اخبرنا ابو يعلى ، حدثنا ابو خيثمة ، حدثنا محمد بن خازم ، حدثنا الاعمش ، عن ابي سفيان ، عن جابر ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إذا قضى احدكم الصلاة في مسجده فليجعل لبيته نصيبا، فإن الله جاعل في بيته من صلاته خيرا" .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a person completes his prayer in the mosque, he should also keep a portion (of prayer) for his home, for Allah the Exalted will place goodness in his house because of his offering of prayer."
