Chapter on Acts of Obedience and Their Rewards – The Prophet’s saying“Everyone is facilitated”means each is enabled for what was decreed for him.
Hadith Number: 338
اخبرنا علي بن الحسين بن سليمان المعدل بالفسطاط، حدثنا الحارث بن مسكين ، حدثنا ابن وهب ، اخبرني معاوية بن صالح ، عن راشد بن سعد ، حدثني عبد الرحمن بن قتادة السلمي ، وكان من اصحاب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، يقول: " خلق الله آدم، ثم اخذ الخلق من ظهره، فقال: هؤلاء في الجنة ولا ابالي، وهؤلاء في النار ولا ابالي"، قال قائل: يا رسول الله، فعلى ماذا نعمل؟ قال:" على مواقع القدر" .
Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Qatadah Salmi, may Allah be pleased with him, who was among the companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "Allah Almighty created Sayyiduna Adam (peace be upon him), then He brought forth his progeny from his back and said: These will be in Paradise and I do not care, and these will be in Hell and I do not care." A man asked: O Messenger of Allah! Then on what basis should we act? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: On the basis of the decree of destiny."
