Chapter on Breaking the Fast and Hastening It - Recommending hastening iftar, contrary to those who delay it
Hadith Number: 3508
اخبرنا اخبرنا عبد الله بن محمد بن سلم ، قال: حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن إبراهيم ، قال: حدثنا الوليد بن مسلم ، عن الاوزاعي ، قال: حدثني قرة بن عبد الرحمن ، عن الزهري ، عن ابي سلمة ، عن ابي هريرة ، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال:" قال الغني جل وعلا: احب عبادي إلي اعجلهم فطرا" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "The Rich (i.e., Allah Almighty) says: Among My servants, the most beloved to Me are those who hasten in breaking the fast."
