باب الاعتكاف وليلة القدر - ذكر مغفرة الله جل وعلا السالف من ذنوب العبد بقيامه ليلة القدر إيمانا واحتسابا فيه
I’tikaf and Laylat al-Qadr - Allah forgives past sins for those who stand in prayer on Laylat al-Qadr with faith and hope
Hadith Number: 3682
اخبرنا احمد بن علي بن المثنى ، حدثنا غسان بن الربيع ، حدثنا ثابت بن يزيد ، عن محمد بن عمرو ، عن ابي سلمة ، عن ابي هريرة ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " من قام رمضان وصامه إيمانا واحتسابا، غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه، ومن قام ليلة القدر إيمانا واحتسابا غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates this statement of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him: "Whoever, with faith and seeking reward, performs voluntary prayers and fasts during Ramadan, his past sins are forgiven; and whoever, with faith and seeking reward, performs voluntary prayers during the Night of Qadr, his past sins are forgiven."
