Standing at Arafat and Muzdalifah and Departing from Them – On the Recommendation for the Imam to Send Ahead the Weak Members of His Family from Muzdalifah at Night
Hadith Number: 3867
اخبرنا ابن قتيبة ، حدثنا احمد بن ابي الحواري ، حدثنا ابن وهب ، حدثنا يونس ، عن الزهري ، عن سالم ، قال:" كان ابي يقدم ضعفة اهله من المزدلفة إلى منى، ويذكر ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كان يفعله" .
Salim narrates: My father (Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both) used to send the weak members of his family towards Mina before (the people departed from) Muzdalifah. He used to mention this: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also did the same.
