Chapter on the Virtue of Jihad - On denying the coexistence of dust from Allah's cause and Hellfire's heat in a Muslim
Hadith Number: 4606
اخبرنا إسماعيل بن داود بن وردان بالفسطاط، حدثنا عيسى بن حماد ، اخبرنا الليث ، عن ابن عجلان ، عن سهيل ، عن ابيه ، عن ابي هريرة ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " لا يجتمع في جوف عبد مؤمن غبار في سبيل الله وفيح جهنم، ولا يجتمع في جوف عبد الإيمان والحسد" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Dust from the path of Allah and the smoke of Hell will never be together in the belly of any believing servant, and faith and envy cannot be together in the belly of any servant."
