باب فرض الجهاد - ذكر الإباحة للمسلم أن يهاجي المشركين إذ هو أحد الجهادين-
Chapter on the Obligation of Jihad – On the permissibility for a Muslim to satirize the polytheists, as it is a form of jihad.
Hadith Number: 4707
اخبرنا ابو يعلى ، حدثنا احمد بن عيسى المصري ، قال: حدثنا ابن وهب ، قال: اخبرني يونس ، عن ابن شهاب ، عن عبد الرحمن بن كعب بن مالك ، عن ابيه ، انه قال: يا رسول الله، ما ترى في الشعر؟ قال:" إن المؤمن يجاهد بسيفه، ولسانه، والذي نفسي بيده لكانما تنضحونهم بالنبل" .
Abdur Rahman bin Ka'b bin Malik narrates from his father: He said: O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! What is your opinion about poetry? The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: A believer strives with his sword and his tongue. By Him in Whose hand is my soul, (by reciting poetry against the polytheists) it is as if you are striking them with spears.
