Sayyiduna Ka’b bin ‘Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“O Ka’b bin ‘Ujrah! Such flesh and blood will not enter Paradise whose nourishment has been from the unlawful; the Fire is more deserving of them. O Ka’b bin ‘Ujrah! People go out in two conditions. One person frees himself and liberates himself, and another enslaves himself. O Ka’b bin ‘Ujrah! Prayer is a means of attaining closeness, charity is a proof, fasting is a shield, and charity wipes out sin just as a strong person climbs Safa.”
