Chapter on Killing Animals – On the prohibition of killing jinn-turned snakes that live in houses
Hadith Number: 5639
اخبرنا ابو خليفة ، قال: حدثنا القعنبي ، قال: حدثنا ليث بن سعد ، عن نافع ، عن ابن عمر ، ان ابا لبابة ، قال: إن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " نهى عن قتل الحيات التي تكون في البيوت" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: Sayyiduna Abu Lubabah (may Allah be pleased with him) has stated that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded to kill the snakes present in the houses.
