Chapter on Remembrance – On the honor Allah grants in the Hereafter to those who remembered Him in this world
Hadith Number: 816
اخبرنا اخبرنا عمر بن محمد الهمداني ، قال: حدثنا ابو طاهر ، قال: حدثنا ابن وهب ، قال: اخبرني عمرو بن الحارث ، عن دراج ابي السمح ، عن ابي الهيثم ، عن ابي سعيد ، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال:" يقول الله جل وعلا: سيعلم اهل الجمع اليوم من اهل الكرم"، فقيل: من اهل الكرم يا رسول الله؟ قال:" اهل مجالس الذكر في المساجد" .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Allah Almighty says: Today the people of wealth will know who are the honorable ones." It was asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Who are the honorable ones?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The individuals of the gathering of remembrance held in the mosque are the 'honorable' ones."
