Sayyiduna Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this hadith regarding the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): Once, when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had a fever, Sayyiduna Jibreel (peace be upon him) performed ruqyah (spiritual healing) on him and recited these words: "With the name of Allah, I seek blessing for you and perform ruqyah on you from every illness that harms you, and for protection from the envy of every envier, and for protection from the evil eye and poison. May Allah grant you healing."
