Hadith Number: 29
524- وعن ابى بكر بن نافع عن ابيه عن عبد الله بن عمر ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم امر بإحفاء الشوارب وإعفاء اللحى.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered to trim the moustaches and let the beards grow.
تخریج الحدیث: «524- الموطأ (رواية يحيیٰي بن يحيیٰي 947/2 ح 1828، ك 51 ب 1 ح 1) التمهيد 142/24، الاستذكار: 1764 و أخرجه مسلم (259/53) من حديث مالك به.»
قال الشيخ زبير على زئي:سنده صحيح
