Issues of Buying and Selling
Conditions must be observed in transactions
Hadith Number: 495
234- وبه: ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ”من باع نخلا قد ابرت فثمرها للبائع إلا ان يشترطه المبتاع.“
And with the same chain of narration (from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both), it is narrated that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever sells date palm trees that have been pollinated, then the seller is entitled to their fruit, unless the buyer stipulates a condition that the fruit will be his."
تخریج الحدیث: «234- متفق عليه، الموطأ (رواية يحييٰ بن يحييٰ 617/2 ح 1339، ك 31 ب 7 ح 9) التمهيد 282/13، الاستذكار:1259، و أخرجه البخاري (2204) ومسلم (1543/77) من حديث مالك به.»
قال الشيخ زبير على زئي:سنده صحيح
