It is narrated from Umm al-Mu’minin Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her), she says that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would come to me and say:“Do you have any food for the morning?”If I said: No, then he (peace be upon him) would say:“Then I am fasting.”She says: One day something came to me, so I said: O Messenger of Allah! A gift has come to me. He (peace be upon him) asked:“What is it?”I replied: It is hais (a sweet dish made of cheese and dried dates). He (peace be upon him) said:“I have been fasting since the morning.”Then he (peace be upon him) ate it.
