The Book of Al-Hawalat
باب فى الحوالة، وهل يرجع فى الحوالة:
(1) Chapter. Al-Hawala, (the transference of a dedt from one person to another. It is an agreement whereby a bebtor is released from a debt by another becoming responsible for it). Can Hawala be rejected by the creditors after accepting it?
Hadith Number: 2287
حدثنا عبد الله بن يوسف، اخبرنا مالك، عن ابي الزناد، عن الاعرج، عن ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال:" مطل الغني ظلم، فإذا اتبع احدكم على ملي فليتبع".
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Procrastination (delay) in paying debts by a wealthy man is injustice. So, if your debt is transferred from your debtor to a rich debtor, you should agree."
حكم: أحاديث صحيح البخاريّ كلّها صحيحة
Hadith Number: 2288
حدثنا محمد بن يوسف، حدثنا سفيان، عن ابن ذكوان، عن الاعرج، عن ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال:" مطل الغني ظلم، ومن اتبع على ملي فليتبع".
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Procrastination (delay) in paying debts by a wealthy person is injustice. So, if your debt is transferred from your debtor to a rich debtor, you should agree."
حكم: أحاديث صحيح البخاريّ كلّها صحيحة
Hadith Number: 2400
حدثنا مسدد، حدثنا عبد الاعلى، عن معمر، عن همام بن منبه اخي وهب بن منبه، انه سمع ابا هريرة رضي الله عنه، يقول: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" مطل الغني ظلم".
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "Procrastination (delay) in repaying debts by a wealthy person is injustice."
