The Book of Ghusl (Washing of the Whole Body)
باب من تطيب ثم اغتسل وبقي أثر الطيب:
(14) Chapter. Whoever scented himself and then took a bath while the effect of scent remained even after bathing.
Hadith Number: 271
حدثنا آدم، قال: حدثنا شعبة، قال: حدثنا الحكم، عن إبراهيم، عن الاسود، عن عائشة، قالت:" كاني انظر إلى وبيص الطيب في مفرق النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو محرم".
Narrated `Aisha: It is as if I am just looking at the glitter of scent in the parting of the Prophet's head hair while he was a Muhrim.

Hadith Number: 267
حدثنا محمد بن بشار، قال: حدثنا ابن ابي عدي، ويحيى بن سعيد، عن شعبة، عن إبراهيم بن محمد بن المنتشر، عن ابيه، قال: ذكرته لعائشة، فقالت: يرحم الله ابا عبد الرحمن،" كنت اطيب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فيطوف على نسائه، ثم يصبح محرما ينضخ طيبا".
Narrated Muhammad bin Al-Muntathir: on the authority of his father that he had asked `Aisha (about the Hadith of Ibn `Umar). She said, "May Allah be Merciful to Abu `Abdur-Rahman. I used to put scent on Allah's Apostle and he used to go round his wives, and in the morning he assumed the Ihram, and the fragrance of scent was still coming out from his body."

Hadith Number: 270
حدثنا ابو النعمان، قال: حدثنا ابو عوانة، عن إبراهيم بن محمد بن المنتشر، عن، ابيه، قال: سالت عائشة فذكرت لها قول ابن عمر، ما احب ان اصبح محرما انضخ طيبا، فقالت عائشة" انا طيبت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، ثم طاف في نسائه، ثم اصبح محرما".
Narrated Muhammad bin Al-Muntathir: on the authority of his father that he had asked `Aisha about the saying of Ibn `Umar (i.e. he did not like to be a Muhrim while the smell of scent was still coming from his body). `Aisha said, "I scented Allah's Apostle and he went round (had sexual intercourse with) all his wives, and in the morning he was Muhrim (after taking a bath).

Hadith Number: 1538
حدثني الاسود، عن عائشة رضي الله عنها، قالت: كاني انظر إلى وبيص الطيب في مفارق رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو محرم".
Narrated Aswad from `Aisha: As if I were now observing the glitter of the scent in the parting of the hair of the Prophet while he was Muhrim?"

Hadith Number: 1539
حدثنا عبد الله بن يوسف، اخبرنا مالك، عن عبد الرحمن بن القاسم، عن ابيه، عن عائشة رضي الله عنها زوج النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قالت:" كنت اطيب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لإحرامه حين يحرم ولحله قبل ان يطوف بالبيت".
Narrated `Aisha: (the wife of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) I used to scent Allah's Apostle when he wanted to assume Ihram and also on finishing Ihram before the Tawaf round the Ka`ba (Tawaf-al-ifada).

Hadith Number: 1754
حدثنا علي بن عبد الله، حدثنا سفيان، حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن القاسم، انه سمع اباه، وكان افضل اهل زمانه , يقول: سمعت عائشةرضي الله عنها، تقول:" طيبت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بيدي هاتين حين احرم، ولحله حين احل قبل ان يطوف، وبسطت يديها".
Narrated `Abdur-Rahman bin Al-Qasim: I heard my father who was the best man of his age, saying, "I heard `Aisha saying, 'I perfumed Allah's Apostle with my own hands before finishing his Ihram while yet he has not performed Tawaf-al- Ifada.' She spread her hands (while saying so.)"

Hadith Number: 5918
حدثنا ابو الوليد، وعبد الله بن رجاء، قالا: حدثنا شعبة، عن الحكم، عن إبراهيم، عن الاسود، عن عائشة رضي الله عنها، قالت:" كاني انظر إلى وبيص الطيب في مفارق النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو محرم" قال عبد الله: في مفرق النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم.
Narrated `Aisha: As if I am now looking at the shine of the hair parting of the Prophet while he was in the state of lhram.

Hadith Number: 5922
حدثني احمد بن محمد، اخبرنا عبد الله، اخبرنا يحيى بن سعيد، اخبرنا عبد الرحمن بن القاسم، عن ابيه، عن عائشة، قالت:" طيبت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بيدي لحرمه، وطيبته بمنى قبل ان يفيض".
Narrated `Aisha: I applied perfume to the Prophet with my own hands when he wanted to assume the state of Ihram, and I also perfumed him at Mina before he departed from there (to perform Tawaf-al-Ifada).

Hadith Number: 5923
حدثنا إسحاق بن نصر، حدثنا يحيى بن آدم، حدثنا إسرائيل، عن ابي إسحاق، عن عبد الرحمن بن الاسود، عن ابيه، عن عائشة، قالت:" كنت اطيب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم باطيب ما يجد حتى اجد وبيص الطيب في راسه ولحيته".
Narrated `Aisha: I used to perfume Allah's Apostle with the best scent available till I saw the shine of the scent on his head and shine beard.

Hadith Number: 5928
حدثنا موسى، حدثنا وهيب، حدثنا هشام، عن عثمان بن عروة، عن ابيه، عن عائشة رضي الله عنها، قالت:" كنت اطيب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم عند إحرامه باطيب ما اجد".
Narrated `Aisha: used to perfume the Prophet before his assuming the state of with the best scent available.

Hadith Number: 5930
حدثنا عثمان بن الهيثم، او محمد عنه، عن ابن جريج، اخبرني عمر بن عبد الله بن عروة، سمع عروة، والقاسم، يخبران عن عائشة، قالت:" طيبت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بيدي بذريرة في حجة الوداع للحل والإحرام".
Narrated `Aisha: During Hajjat-al-Wada`, I perfumed Allah's Apostle with Dharira with my own hands, both on his assuming Ihram and on finishing it.
