The Book of The Beginning of Creation
باب خمس من الدواب فواسق يقتلن فى الحرم:
(16) Chapter. Five kinds of animals are Fawaisiq (harmful), and one is allowed to kill them even in the Sanctuary (Al-Haram) of Makkah and Al-Madina.
Hadith Number: 3319
حدثنا إسماعيل بن ابي اويس، قال: حدثني مالك، عن ابي الزناد، عن الاعرج، عن ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال:" نزل نبي من الانبياء تحت شجرة فلدغته نملة فامر بجهازه فاخرج من تحتها، ثم امر ببيتها فاحرق بالنار فاوحى الله إليه فهلا نملة واحدة".
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "Once while a prophet amongst the prophets was taking a rest underneath a tree, an ant bit him. He, therefore, ordered that his luggage be taken away from underneath that tree and then ordered that the dwelling place of the ants should be set on fire. Allah sent him a revelation:-- "Wouldn't it have been sufficient to burn a single ant? (that bit you): (See Page 162, chapter No. 153).
حكم: أحاديث صحيح البخاريّ كلّها صحيحة
Hadith Number: 3019
حدثنا يحيى بن بكير، حدثنا الليث، عن يونس، عن ابن شهاب، عن سعيد بن المسيب، ان ابا هريرة رضي الله عنه، قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، يقول:" قرصت نملة نبيا من الانبياء فامر بقرية النمل فاحرقت، فاوحى الله إليه ان قرصتك نملة احرقت امة من الامم تسبح".
Narrated Abu Hurairah (ra): I heard Allah's Messenger (saws) saying, "An ant bit a Prophet amongst the Prophets, and he ordered that the place of the ants be burnt. So, Allah inspired to him, 'It is because one ant bit you that you burnt a nation amongst the nations that glorify Allah?"
