The Book of Ad-Diyait (Blood - Money)
باب سؤال القاتل حتى يقر والإقرار فى الحدود:
(4) Chapter. To question the killer till he confesses; and confession is cases where Divinely prescribed punishment are imperative.
Hadith Number: 6876
حدثنا حجاج بن منهال، حدثنا همام، عن قتادة، عن انس بن مالك رضي الله عنه، ان يهوديا رض راس جارية بين حجرين، فقيل لها: من فعل بك هذا؟ افلان او فلان؟ حتى سمي اليهودي، فاتي به النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم:" فلم يزل به حتى اقر به، فرض راسه بالحجارة".
Narrated Anas bin Malik: A Jew crushed the head of a girl between two stones, and the girl was asked, "Who has done that to you, so-and-so or so and so?" (Some names were mentioned for her) till the name of that Jew was mentioned (whereupon she agreed). The Jew was brought to the Prophet and the Prophet kept on questioning him till he confessed, whereupon his head was crushed with stones.
حكم: أحاديث صحيح البخاريّ كلّها صحيحة
Hadith Number: 2413
حدثنا موسى، حدثنا همام، عن قتادة، عن انس رضي الله عنه،" ان يهوديا رض راس جارية بين حجرين، قيل: من فعل هذا بك؟ افلان، افلان، حتى سمي اليهودي، فاومات براسها، فاخذ اليهودي فاعترف، فامر به النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فرض راسه بين حجرين".
Narrated Anas: A Jew crushed the head of a girl between two stones. The girl was asked who had crushed her head, and some names were mentioned before her, and when the name of the Jew was mentioned, she nodded agreeing. The Jew was captured and when he confessed, the Prophet ordered that his head be crushed between two stones.
