The Book of Holding Fast To The Qur’An and The Sunna
باب ما ذكر النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم وحض على اتفاق أهل العلم:
(16) Chapter. The Prophet (p.b.u.h.) mentioned and recommended that the religious learned men should not differ. What common opinions the people of the two Haram (sanctuaries) of Makkah and Al-Madina had.
Hadith Number: 7334
حدثنا ابن ابي مريم، حدثنا ابو غسان، حدثني ابو حازم، عن سهل، انه كان" بين جدار المسجد مما يلي القبلة وبين المنبر ممر الشاة".
Narrated Sahl: The distance between the pulpit and the wall of the mosque on the side of the Qibla was just sufficient for a sheep to pass through.
حكم: أحاديث صحيح البخاريّ كلّها صحيحة
Hadith Number: 496
حدثنا عمرو بن زرارة، قال: اخبرنا عبد العزيز بن ابي حازم، عن ابيه، عن سهل، قال:" كان بين مصلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وبين الجدار ممر الشاة".
Narrated Sahl (bin Sa`d): The distance between the Musalla of Allah's Apostle and the wall was just sufficient for a sheep to pass through .
