باب ما جاء في الدعاء إذا أصبح وإذا أمسى

Hadith Number: 3390
حدثنا سفيان بن وكيع، حدثنا جرير، عن الحسن بن عبيد الله، عن إبراهيم بن سويد، عن عبد الرحمن بن يزيد، عن عبد الله، قال: " كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا امسى قال: امسينا وامسى الملك لله، والحمد لله، ولا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، اراه قال فيها: له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير، اسالك خير ما في هذه الليلة وخير ما بعدها، واعوذ بك من شر هذه الليلة وشر ما بعدها، واعوذ بك من الكسل وسوء الكبر، واعوذ بك من عذاب النار وعذاب القبر، وإذا اصبح قال: ذلك ايضا اصبحنا واصبح الملك لله والحمد لله ". قال ابو عيسى: هذا حديث حسن صحيح، وقد رواه شعبة بهذا الإسناد عن ابن مسعود لم يرفعه.
`Abdullah said:`“When he reached the evening, the Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) used to say, ‘We have reached the evening, and the Dominion has reached the evening, while belonging to Allah. And all praise belongs to Allah. None has the right to be worshiped but Allah, alone, without partner. (Amsaina wa amsal-mulku lillāh, wal-ḥamdullilāh, wa lā ilāha illallāh, waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu)’ – I think he said [in it] : - ‘To Him belongs the Dominion, and to Him is the praise, and He is capable of all things. I ask You for the good that is in this night, and the good of what is after it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this night, and the evil of what is after it, and I seek refuge in You from laziness and helpless old age. And I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the Fire and the punishment of the grave (Lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu, wa huwa `alā kulli shai'in qadīr. Asa'luka khaira mā fī hādhihil-lailah, wa khaira mā ba`dahā, wa a`ūdhu bika min sharri hādhihil-lailati wa sharri mā ba`dahā, wa a`ūdhu bika minal-kasali wa sū'il-kibar, wa a`ūdhu bika min `adhābin-nāri wa `adhābil-qabr).’ And when he reached the morning, he ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) used to say, ‘We have reached the morning, and the Dominion has reached the morning, while belonging to Allah. And all praise belongs to Allah (Aṣbaḥnā wa aṣbaḥal-mulku lillāh, wal-ḥamdulillāh).’”
قال الشيخ الألباني: صحيح
Hadith Number: 3391
حدثنا علي بن حجر، حدثنا عبد الله بن جعفر، اخبرنا سهيل بن ابي صالح، عن ابيه، عن ابي هريرة، قال: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يعلم اصحابه يقول: إذا اصبح احدكم فليقل: اللهم بك اصبحنا وبك امسينا وبك نحيا وبك نموت وإليك المصير، وإذا امسى فليقل: اللهم بك امسينا وبك اصبحنا وبك نحيا وبك نموت وإليك النشور ". قال ابو عيسى: هذا حديث حسن.
Abu Hurairah (ra) said: The Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) used to teach his Companions, saying:“When one of you reached the morning, then let him say: ‘O Allah, by You we enter the morning, and by You we enter the evening, and be You we live, and by You we died, and to You is the Return (Allāhumma bika aṣbaḥnā wa bika amsainā wa bika naḥyā wa bika namūtu wa ilaikal-maṣīr). And when he reaches the evening let him say: ‘O Allah, by You we enter the evening, and by You we enter the morning, and by You we live, and by You we die, and to You is the Resurrection (Allāhumma bika amsainā wa bika aṣbaḥnā wa bika naḥyā wa bika namūtu wa ilaikan-nushūr).’”
قال الشيخ الألباني: صحيح، ابن ماجة (3868)
Hadith Number: 3417
حدثنا عمر بن إسماعيل بن مجالد بن سعيد الهمداني، حدثنا ابي، عن عبد الملك بن عمير، عن ربعي، عن حذيفة بن اليمان رضي الله عنهما، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " كان إذا اراد ان ينام قال: " اللهم باسمك اموت واحيا "، وإذا استيقظ، قال: " الحمد لله الذي احيا نفسي بعد ما اماتها وإليه النشور ". قال ابو عيسى: هذا حديث حسن صحيح.
Hudhaifah bin Al-Yaman [may Allah be pleased with him] narrated that when the Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) wanted to sleep, he would say:`“O Allah, in Your Name I die and I live (Allāhumma bismika amūtu wa aḥyā).”And when he would wake, he would say:“Allah praise is due to Allah who revived my soul after causing its death and to Him is the resurrection (Al-ḥamdulillāh, alladhī aḥyā nafsī ba`da mā amātahā wa ilaihin-nushūr).”
