Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever dies free from three things—arrogance (pride), dishonesty regarding war booty, and debt—will enter Paradise." __REF_N__ Imam Tirmidhi says:
In this chapter, there are also ahadith from Abu Hurairah and Zayd bin Khalid al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with them).

Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever's soul departs from his body while he is free from three things—treasure (hoarded wealth), stolen spoils, and debt—will enter Paradise." 1. Sa'id bin Abi 'Arubah narrated it in the same way in his narration «الكنز» , and Abu 'Awanah narrated it in his narration «الكبر» , but he did not mention «عن معدان» in it. Sa'id's narration is more authentic.

'Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that it was said: "O Messenger of Allah! So-and-so man has been martyred." He replied: "Never! I saw him in the Hellfire because of the cloak (garment) which he had stolen from the spoils of war." He (the Prophet) said: "Umar! Stand up and announce three times that only believers will enter Paradise." (And a believer does not commit treachery.)

Imam Tirmidhi says: This hadith is Hasan Sahih Gharib.
