Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Change the whiteness of the hair (by dyeing it) and do not imitate the Jews." __QUR_N__

Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- The hadith of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) is Hasan Sahih.
2- This hadith has also come through other chains in a marfu' manner from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him).
3- In this chapter, ahadith have also been narrated from Zubair, Ibn Abbas, Jabir, Abu Dharr, Anas, Abu Rimthah, Jahdamah, Abu Tufail, Jabir bin Samurah, Abu Hujayfah, and Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them all).

It is narrated from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The best thing with which to change the whiteness of hair is henna and katam." 1. Imam Tirmidhi says: This hadith is hasan sahih.
