باب مَا جَاءَ فِي كَرَاهِيَةِ الأَكْلِ مِنْ وَسَطِ الطَّعَامِ
Chapter: Dislike of Eating from the Middle Portion
Hadith Number: 1805
حدثنا ابو رجاء، حدثنا جرير، عن عطاء بن السائب، عن سعيد بن جبير، عن ابن عباس، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " البركة تنزل وسط الطعام فكلوا من حافتيه ولا تاكلوا من وسطه "، قال ابو عيسى: هذا حديث حسن صحيح إنما يعرف من حديث عطاء بن السائب وقد رواه شعبة، والثوري، عن عطاء بن السائب وفي الباب، عن ابن عمر.
Narrated from Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Blessing descends in the middle of the food, so eat from its edges and do not eat from the middle." Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan Sahih,
2- And it is known only through the narration of Ata bin Saib; Shubah and Thawri have also narrated it from Ata bin Saib,
