Chapter: Praising Allah after Eating
Hadith Number: 1816
Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah is pleased with His servant when he eats a morsel of food or drinks a sip of drink, and then praises Allah for it." Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan (good).
2- Several people have narrated it from Zakariya bin Abi Za'idah in this manner; we know it only from the narration of Zakariya bin Abi Za'idah.
3- In this chapter, there are also ahadith from Uqbah bin Amir, Abu Sa'id, Aisha, Abu Ayyub, and Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with them).
