Hadith Number: 1861
‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“Every intoxicant is wine, and every intoxicant is unlawful. Whoever drinks wine in this world and dies while he is addicted to it, he will not drink it in the Hereafter.” Imam Tirmidhi says:

2- This hadith has come from several chains from Nafi‘, who narrates from Ibn ‘Umar, and Ibn ‘Umar narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“Whoever drinks wine, Allah will not accept his prayer for forty days. If he repents, Allah will accept his repentance. If he drinks again, Allah will not accept his prayer for forty days. If he repents, Allah will accept his repentance. If he drinks again, Allah will not accept his prayer for forty days. If he repents, Allah will accept his repentance. If he drinks a fourth time, Allah will not accept his prayer for forty days, and if he repents, his repentance will not be accepted, and he will be made to drink from the river of Khabal.”It was asked,“O Abu ‘Abdur-Rahman! What is the river of Khabal?”He said:“A river of the pus of the people of Hell.” Imam Tirmidhi says:
