And with this chain (it is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There was a debate between Sayyiduna Adam, peace be upon him, and Sayyiduna Musa, peace be upon him. Musa, peace be upon him, said to him: Are you the Adam who caused people to be expelled from Paradise and made them slip? So Adam, peace be upon him, replied to him: Are you the Musa whom Allah gave knowledge of everything and chose among the people with His message? He said: Yes. Adam, peace be upon him, said: Do you blame me for something which Allah had written in my destiny before my creation?"

It is narrated from Tawoos (the Tabi'i) that I found a group among the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) saying that everything is by decree (qadar). Tawoos said: I heard Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) say that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Everything is by decree, even incapacity and intelligence are by decree."

And with the same chain of narration, it is narrated from (Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "No woman should demand the divorce of her sister so that she may empty her bowl (for herself) and marry; for she will only get what has been decreed for her."
