Iblis's state on the day of Makkah's conquest

ـ (لما افتتح - صلى الله عليه وسلم - مكة؛ رن إبليس رنة اجتمعت إليه جنوده، فقال: اياسوا ان نرى امة محمد على الشرك بعد يومكم هذا! ولكن افتنوهم في دينهم، وافشوا فيهم النوح).
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: When the Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) conquered Makkah, Iblis began to cry with a sorrowful voice, and his army gathered around him. He said: Despair, for after today we will not be able to see the Ummah of Muhammad ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) involved in shirk. Now, create tribulations in their religion and spread lamentation widely.
