The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Make such an interval between the Adhan and the Iqamah that one who needs to relieve himself may do so comfortably, and one who is eating may finish his meal with ease." This hadith is narrated from Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b, Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah, Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, and Sayyiduna Salman al-Farsi (may Allah be pleased with them).
