المواعظ والرقائق
Book of Admonitions and Softening of Hearts
No two fears nor two securities can coexist
Numbering by, Al-Albani: 2666, Fiqh-based: ,2346
-" يقول الله عز وجل: وعزتي لا اجمع على عبدي خوفين ولا اجمع له امنين، إذا امنني في الدنيا اخفته يوم القيامة، وإذا خافني في الدنيا امنته يوم القيامة".
There is a mursal narration from Hasan (that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said): "Allah Almighty says: By My greatness (and dominance), I will not gather two fears for My servant, nor will I combine two securities. Whoever remained fearless of Me in the world, I will make him fearful in the Hereafter, and whoever feared Me in the world, I will grant him security on the Day of Resurrection."
