بَابُ صِلَةِ الرَّحِمِ تَزِيدُ فِي الْعُمْرِ
Chapter: Maintaining Ties of Kinship Increases Lifespan
Hadith Number: 56
حدثنا عبد الله بن صالح قال: حدثني الليث قال: حدثني عقيل، عن ابن شهاب قال: اخبرني انس بن مالك، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ”من احب ان يبسط له في رزقه، وان ينسا له في اثره، فليصل رحمه.“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever wishes that his provision be expanded and his life be prolonged, he should maintain the ties of kinship."

Hadith Number: 57
حدثنا إبراهيم بن المنذر، قال: حدثنا محمد بن معن قال: حدثني ابي، عن سعيد بن ابي سعيد المقبري، عن ابي هريرة قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: ”من سره ان يبسط له في رزقه، وان ينسا له في اثره، فليصل رحمه.“
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "Whoever wishes that his provision be increased and his footsteps be prolonged, that is, his life be lengthened, should maintain the ties of kinship."
