Chapter: Deliberation in Matters
Hadith Number: 888
It is narrated from a companion of the Baliy tribe (may Allah be pleased with him) that I went with my father to the service of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) left me aside and whispered to my father. He says that I asked my father: What did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) whisper to you? He said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you intend to do something, do it with seriousness and dignity, until Allah Almighty shows you a way out of that matter." Or he said: "Allah Almighty will make a way out for you."

It is narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Hanafiyyah, may Allah have mercy on him, that he said: A person who cannot avoid mixing with certain people, and does not behave well with them, is not wise or intelligent. He should continue to get along with those whom it is necessary to live with, until Allah provides a way out for him.
