Hadith Number: 890
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Bara’ bin ‘Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“Whoever gives someone a milk-giving animal, or guides someone on a street or road, will receive a reward equal to freeing a slave.”

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) in a marfu‘ form that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Pouring water from your bucket into your brother’s bucket is charity. Enjoining good and forbidding evil is also charity. Meeting your brother with a smiling face is also charity. Removing a stone, thorn, or bone from the path of people is also charity for you. Guiding a lost person to the right way is also charity."
