Introduction
باب اجْتِنَابِ أَهْلِ الأَهْوَاءِ وَالْبِدَعِ وَالْخُصُومَةِ:
Chapter: Avoiding People of Desires, Innovations, and Argumentation
Hadith Number: 415
اخبرنا احمد، حدثنا زائدة، عن هشام، عن الحسن، وابن سيرين، انهما قالا: "لا تجالسوا اصحاب الاهواء، ولا تجادلوهم، ولا تسمعوا منهم".
Imam Hasan and Imam Muhammad bin Sirin, may Allah have mercy on them, said: Do not sit with the people of kalam, do not debate with them, and do not listen to them.
تخریج الحدیث:
Hadith Number: 416
اخبرنا احمد، حدثنا شريك، عن امي، عن الشعبي، قال: "إنما سموا اصحاب الاهواء، لانهم يهوون في النار".
Imam Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The slaves of desires and the self are named so because they will be thrown into Hell.
