باب النَّهْيِ عَنْ مَسْحِ الْحَصَا:
Chapter: Forbidding wiping pebbles
Hadith Number: 1425
حدثنا وهب بن جرير، حدثنا هشام، عن يحيى بن ابي كثير، عن ابي سلمة، حدثني معيقيب، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قيل له في المسح في المسجد قال:"إن كنت لا بد فاعلا، فواحدة". قال هشام: اراه قال: يعني: مسح الحصا.
Sayyiduna Mu'ayqib ibn Abi Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about removing pebbles in the mosque, so he (peace be upon him) said: "If it is extremely necessary, then only once." Hisham said: I think what was meant is that one should remove the pebbles only once.

Hadith Number: 1426
اخبرنا محمد بن يوسف، حدثنا ابن عيينة، عن الزهري، عن ابي الاحوص، عن ابي ذر، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "إذا قام احدكم إلى الصلاة، فإن الرحمة تواجهه، فلا يمسح الحصا".
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any one of you stands for prayer, the mercy of Allah is before him, so he should not remove pebbles."
