باب الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ إِذَا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ:
Chapter: Two rak‘ahs upon entering the mosque
Hadith Number: 1431
اخبرنا يحيى بن حسان، حدثنا مالك بن انس، وفليح بن سليمان، عن عامر بن عبد الله بن الزبير، عن عمرو بن سليم الزرقي، عن ابي قتادة، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: "إذا جاء احدكم المسجد، فليركع ركعتين قبل ان يجلس".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah al-Sulami (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any one of you enters the mosque, he should perform two rak‘ahs (of Tahiyyat al-Masjid) before sitting down."
