باب الصَّدَقَةِ لاَ تَحِلُّ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلاَ لأَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ:
Chapter: Charity Is Not Permitted for the Prophet or His Family
Hadith Number: 1680
اخبرنا هاشم بن القاسم، حدثنا شعبة، اخبرني محمد بن زياد، قال: سمعت ابا هريرة قال: اخذ الحسن تمرة من تمر الصدقة، فجعلها في فيه، فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم:"كخ كخ القها، اما شعرت انا لا ناكل الصدقة؟".
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) said that Sayyiduna Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with both of them) picked up a date from the dates of zakat and put it in his mouth. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No, no, take it out! Do you not know that we do not eat charity?"

Hadith Number: 1681
اخبرنا الاسود بن عامر، حدثنا زهير، عن عبد الله بن عيسى، عن عيسى، عن عبد الرحمن بن ابي ليلى، عن ابي ليلى، قال: كنت عند النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وعنده الحسن بن علي، فاخذ تمرة من تمر الصدقة فانتزعها منه، وقال:"اما علمت انه لا تحل لنا الصدقة".
Sayyiduna Abu Laila Bilal Ansari رضي الله عنه said: I was with the Noble Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم and Sayyiduna Hasan bin Ali رضي الله عنهما was with him. He picked up a date from the charity dates, and the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم took it away from him and said: "Do you not know that charity is not lawful for us?"
