باب التَّشْدِيدِ عَلَى مَنْ سَأَلَ وَهُوَ غَنِيٌّ:
Chapter: Warning Against Asking While Being Wealthy
Hadith Number: 1682
اخبرنا سعيد بن منصور، حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة، عن عمرو بن دينار، عن وهب بن منبه، عن اخيه، عن معاوية، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "لا تلحفوا بي في المسالة فوالله لا يسالني احد شيئا فاعطيه وانا كاره، فيبارك له فيه".
Sayyiduna Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not ask from me insistently; by Allah, whoever asks me and I give to him despite my dislike, it is not possible that there will be any blessing in it for him."

Hadith Number: 1683
اخبرنا محمد بن عبد الله الرقاشي، حدثنا يزيد هو ابن زريع، اخبرنا سعيد، عن قتادة، عن سالم بن ابي الجعد، عن معدان بن ابي طلحة، عن ثوبان مولى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "من سال الناس مسالة وهو عنها غني، كانت شينا في وجهه".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him), the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever asks anything from someone despite being wealthy, it will be a mark of disgrace on his face."
