From the Book of Drinks
باب فِيمَا يُنْبَذُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيهِ:
Chapter: What the Prophet Used for Soaking Drinks
Hadith Number: 2144
اخبرنا يزيد بن هارون، عن عبد الملك بن ابي سليمان، عن ابي الزبير، عن جابر، قال:"كان ينتبذ للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في السقاء، فإن لم يكن سقاء، نبذ له في تور من برام".
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Nabidh used to be prepared for the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a waterskin. If there was no waterskin, then Nabidh used to be prepared for him in a stone pot or bowls.
