باب في التَّغْلِيظِ لِمَنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ:
Chapter: Severity for Those Who Drink Alcohol
Hadith Number: 2143
اخبرنا محمد بن يوسف، عن الاوزاعي، عن الزهري، عن ابي سلمة، عن ابي هريرة، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "لا يزني الزاني حين يزني وهو مؤمن، ولا يسرق السارق حين يسرق وهو مؤمن، ولا يشرب الخمر حين يشربها وهو مؤمن".
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The adulterer does not commit adultery while he is a believer, the thief does not steal while he is a believer, and the one who drinks wine does not drink it while he is a believer."
