باب الْحَالِ التي تَجُوزُ لِلرَّجُلِ أَنْ يَخْطُبَ فِيهَا:
Chapter: When It Is Permissible to Propose
Hadith Number: 2215
اخبرنا يزيد بن هارون، حدثنا داود يعني ابن ابي هند، حدثنا عامر، حدثنا ابو هريرة:"ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم نهى ان تنكح المراة على عمتها، والعمة على ابنة اخيها، او المراة على خالتها، او الخالة على بنت اختها، ولا تنكح الصغرى على الكبرى، ولا الكبرى على الصغرى".
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade marrying a woman and her paternal niece together, or a niece and her paternal aunt together; likewise, marrying a woman and her maternal niece together, or a niece and her maternal aunt together. Neither should the elder be married along with the younger, nor the younger along with the elder.

Hadith Number: 2216
حدثنا عبيد الله بن عبد المجيد، حدثنا مالك، عن ابي الزناد، عن الاعرج، عن ابي هريرة:"ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم نهى ان يجمع بين المراة وعمتها والمراة وخالتها".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade combining a niece and her paternal aunt, and combining a niece and her maternal aunt together.
