باب النَّهْيِ عَنِ النَّذْرِ:
Chapter: Prohibition of Making Vows
Hadith Number: 2377
اخبرنا عمرو بن عون، اخبرنا ابو عوانة، عن منصور، عن عبد الله بن مرة، عن ابن عمر، قال: قال رسول الله: "إن النذر لا يرد شيئا، وإنما يستخرج به من الشحيح".
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A vow cannot repel anything; it is only by means of it that wealth is extracted from a miserly and stingy person."
